James Ferrari created Tribal Truth because he wanted to give artists and philanthropists a place to share their work and raise awareness for their social causes. Ferrari worked in Mozambique after the 2001 floods, attended a workshop on Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Namibia sponsored by UNICEF, and participated in the Sister City Workshop, a collaboration between New York City and Johannesburg.

Through Tribal Truth, he hopes to bring attention to work being done by grassroots groups and individuals as well as global organizations, and he wants to give artists both established and up-and-coming a chance to share their art with an online community.

As a global traveler, James Ferrari also wants to give people the chance to experience different cultures and find common ground through artwork. As you browse through Tribal Truth, take a few minutes to read about the challenges faced by countries around the world and look at the art coming out of these different countries. Together, these facts and works of art create a fuller image of another country, and we can gain a better understanding of our place in a global culture.
