Submitted by on October 15, 2010 – 2:39 pmNo Comment

The Girl Effect believes that investing in girls benefits an entire community not just for this generation but for generations to come. They first made waves in 2008 for their animated video “The Girl Effect,” and last month, they released the follow-up “The Girl Effect: The Clock is Ticking.”

The Girl Effect focuses its efforts on literacy, reducing teen pregnancies and marriages, giving girls better job opportunities, and stopping the spread of HIV.
