Peace Fellows with the Advocacy Project

Submitted by on July 30, 2010 – 11:39 am

Tribal Truth previously covered the Advocacy Project, which you can read about here. An important part of the Advocacy Project is their Peace Fellows program, a program that gives graduate students the opportunity to work for three months in the field and serve as “ambassadors for peace.”

While the Peace Fellows are in the field, they maintain blogs on the Advocacy Project’s website. These blogs are an insightful look into the countries and cultures they are living in, and the Peace Fellows use the blogs to bring attention to the struggles faced by their community.

To read the Peace Fellow’s blogs, click here or go to http://advocacynet.org/wordpress-mu/, and support the Advocacy Project’s Peace Fellows program.
